Samsung ML-2855 Laser Printer Drivers and Software

The Samsung ML-2855 is a compact monochrome laser printer with a function for small and medium-sized businesses. With one of the lowest cost per page in its class, standard duplex printing, a 400 MHz processor, print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute and a monthly duty cycle of up to 50,000 pages, the Samsung ML-2855 conserves resources and saves time and money .

The Samsung ML-2855 is possibly the most compact single-function laser printer I’ve tested to date. Samsung measures 16 x 14 x 9 inches and claims the ML-2855nd is the “world’s smallest laser printer with built-in duplex printing.” I believed it after I realized it only weighs about 19 pounds.

The Samsung ML-2855 has a basic design. The exterior is a mix of dark gray and light gray with a small control panel with a two-line display, compass navigation, LED bar and cancel button.

The output tray takes up the entire top of the Samsung ML 2855 and can hold up to 150 sheets of plain copy paper. On the right side of the Samsung ML-2855, users can access the storage.

Pull out the front of the Samsung ML 2855 to install the 5,000-page high-capacity toner cartridge or the 2,000-page standard-capacity toner cartridge. Samsung uses the same cartridge in three different printer configurations, which can be useful for an office with a fleet of printers. The 50-sheet multi-purpose tray is also located on the front of the Samsung ML-2855.

The Samsung ML-2855 offers a 250-sheet cassette standard. However, businesses can add an optional 250-sheet drawer, which increases the maximum paper capacity to 550 sheets.
