Samsung ML-3310D Laser Printer Drivers and Software
If you need a printer for multiple users, Samsung ML-3310D might be a good option. It is an A4 monochrome laser printer that offers both Ethernet and USB connectivity. So you can either connect it directly to a single PC or connect it to your network so that all computers in your house can access it.
Finished in a boring two-tone gray, the ML-3310D doesn’t offer much to look at. On the plus side, it should be just as at home in an office as it would be in a large home. Measuring 366 x 368 x 253mm, it’s small enough to sit on the edge of a desk.
The paper tray at the base of the printer can hold up to 250 sheets of A4 paper. There is also an optional secondary tray that can hold 520 pages. Above the standard paper feed is a 50-page multi-purpose tray that can also be used to manually load envelopes. Prints are placed in a recessed area at the top of the printer that can hold up to 150 sheets at a time.
The Samsung ML-3310D can be connected to your computer in two ways. The easiest way is to simply connect it directly to a single PC via USB. Alternatively, you can integrate it directly into your network, for which you pay extra with this model.
Setting up the printer to work via USB couldn’t be easier. Simply load the driver onto your computer, connect a USB cable and the job is done.
Connecting the ML-3310D to your network is a little trickier. The printer is configured to automatically obtain its IP address from your network’s DHCP server. However, this means that its address can change every time you turn it off and on, requiring your PC to find it again. It is better to give the printer a fixed IP address, but setting it up is quite a complicated process. Still, you only have to do it once.

The ML-3310D also has a built-in HTTP server. Once connected to your network, you can log in using your computer’s web browser to view toner levels, etc.
